Recipe Description

There aren’t a ton of great Irish whiskey cocktails so I took a page from Martha Stewart’s Irish Whiskey Sour but made it a bit less froufrou…she nailed it with introducing peach into the mix – as a New Yorker transplanted to Georgia, seems like the right way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!


  • 5 ounces Jameson Black Barrel
    or other excellent Irish Whiskey
  • 2 ounces honey syrup
    1 part hot water to 3 parts honey--stir until dissolved
  • 2 ounces lemon juice
  • 2 long dashes peach bitters


Put two sour glasses in the freezer.

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until very cold.


Strain cocktail into glasses.
