Smuggler’s Cove does it again! The Golden Gun is a recipe that won a contest among their students. My guess is these students were not taking Bartending 101!
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 ounce demerara syrup
- 1/2 ounce natural apricot liqueur
1 ounce blended aged rum
such as Mount Gay Eclipse
1 ounce blended lightly aged rum
such as Appleton Reserve or Rare Blend 12
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Fill a tall glass with ice. Fill a shaker with ice and all the ingredients. Shake until cold. Strain over ice into tall glass.
The rums are so ridiculously good, this drink is to die for.
